Several fire incidents have occurred across Dhaka in the past few days, including two separate fires that broke out in Dhanmondi and Mohakhali on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firefighters brought both Thursday fires under control after responding to the incidents. No immediate information was available about casualties, the causes of the fires, or the extent of property damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dhanmondi Fire Breaks Out at Apex Showroom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A fire broke out at an Apex footwear showroom on the second floor of a six-storey building on Dhanmondi Road 27<\/strong> at around 10:05 am on Thursday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fire Service and Civil Defence teams reached the location shortly after receiving the emergency call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four firefighting units from Mohammadpur Fire Station responded to the blaze, while additional units rushed to the scene as firefighters worked to bring the fire under control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firefighters brought the Dhanmondi blaze under control at around 12:00 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohakhali Fire Also Brought Under Control<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another fire broke out at a building in Mohakhali<\/strong> at around 11:05 am<\/strong>, while firefighters were still responding to the Dhanmondi incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three firefighting units rushed to the Mohakhali location and began operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Fire Service, firefighters brought the Mohakhali fire under control at around 11:40 am<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities had not immediately confirmed the cause of the fire or reported the extent of damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent Fire Also Reported in Uttara<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A separate fire broke out at a restaurant on the fifth floor of a six-storey building at Centrepoint Shopping Mall in Uttara<\/strong> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fire started at around 12:45 pm<\/strong> and reportedly spread inside the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Six firefighting units responded to the emergency and brought the blaze under control at around 1:40 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities had not immediately confirmed the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furniture Warehouse Fire Reported in Badda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another recent fire was reported at a furniture warehouse in Satarkul, Badda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fire Service teams received the alert at around 9:00 am<\/strong>. The first unit began firefighting operations at approximately 9:19 am<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two units from Baridhara Fire Station responded to the fire, while additional units from Purbachal rushed to the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities had not immediately determined the cause of the Badda fire or the extent of the damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest incidents have again highlighted the importance of fire safety in Dhaka’s commercial and residential buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firefighters often face challenges when responding to fires in densely populated areas because of traffic congestion, narrow roads and limited access around buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building owners and businesses need to maintain proper fire safety systems, emergency exits and accessible routes for emergency services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
